With the release of the BBR Lean and Clean recipe book, I thought I would do something different for this week’s blog. It is also the holiday season so I wanted to share with you a yummy recipe that is guilt free but also fits with the season, so that you aren’t missing out over Christmas. This recipe is high in protein and low in calories, so you can literally have your cake and eat it too!
PUMPKIN PIE MOUSSE
1 cup of chobani, coconut yoghurt or cottage cheese
½ cup cooked, cooled and mashed pumpkin
½ cup macadamia or cashew milk
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ teaspoon on vanilla
2 tablespoons of sugar free maple syrup
3 drops of vanilla stevia
Method: Simply blend all ingredients together in a blender until smooth and creamy. Freeze for 6 hours.
Macros: 202 cals, 21g protein, 17g carbs, 6g fat.
This recipe serves one. To serve more people, simply increase the volume of the recipe as necessary to serve the desired amount.
